FAQ
Section 1: General Features of the Yukon Model
Our unique All Welded Series model, the Yukon, is designed as a monocoque structure with a fully welded frame, using laser or TIG welding. This exceptional design, rare in the market, guarantees perfect waterproofing, unmatched strength, and optimal durability over time. By minimizing the use of rivets, the Yukon is a premium product designed to meet the highest standards.
Absolutely! Each of the five panels that make up the modular design of our truck boxes is crafted from high-quality aluminum, carefully selected for its superior performance.
We manufacture our boxes with alloy thicknesses ranging from 1.5 mm to 3.5 mm, depending on the specific parts of the construction. Corners and all sensitive areas are reinforced, and our boxes are fully welded to ensure optimal strength. This standard design guarantees exceptional durability, with possible adjustments for custom orders.
Section 2: Comfort and Accessibility
The rooftop tent floor is divided into two sections:
The first section represents about 30% of the bed’s length.
The second section covers the remaining 70%.
Both sections are equipped with pneumatic cylinders, facilitating their opening and keeping them securely in place for practical and safe access.
Yes, it is possible to stand upright inside the truck bed box with the Yukon model, offering optimized space for comfort and practicality.
The interior height of our Yukon truck box, measured from the floor to the rooftop tent ceiling, is designed to offer a height of 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm) greater than our Canopy models, with no additional cost for this added height.
This design also allows you to sit comfortably inside the truck bed box when the rooftop tent is closed, maximizing usable space and comfort.
Section 3: Performance and Safety
Yes, our handles are among the best in the industry, recognized for their robustness and superior quality.
We provide a keyed locking system for all openings, including the rooftop tent, to ensure optimal security.
Our current panels feature a secure locking system from the outside. Additionally, with the optional window equipped with a mini-opening, available on the Yukon model, you can access the exterior handles from inside the box.
For even more comfort and practicality, we plan to integrate a system allowing the panels to be locked and unlocked from the inside on our 2025 model.
The roof’s load capacity is approximately 200 lbs (91 kg) when closed.
However, it is important to reduce this load to 50–60 lbs (23–27 kg) when the roof is open, due to the load limits of the opening cylinders.
